Fittward

Privacy Policy

Last updated October 3, 2026

Fittward helps you log workouts, follow routines and share your training with friends and coaches. This policy explains what we collect, why, who can see it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Fittward apps for iPhone and Android and to fittward.com. Fittward is operated by Cyberlace Software Solutions, India, which is responsible for your personal data (the "data fiduciary" under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023).

The short version: we collect what's needed to run your account and sync your training. We don't sell your data, show ads, or use third-party analytics or tracking. You decide who sees your workouts, and you can delete your account and everything in it from the app at any time.

What we collect

Account information

Training data you create

Workout data can reveal information about your health and fitness. We use it only to provide the features described here, and only share it as your privacy settings allow.

Device permissions

The app asks for access only when you use a feature that needs it: your photo library (to attach images and videos, or to save share cards), the camera, and the microphone (when filming a video). You can change these permissions in your device settings at any time.

Technical information

Our hosting providers keep standard server logs (such as IP address, device or browser type and request times) for security and troubleshooting. We don't use them to build profiles of you.

What we don't collect

We don't collect your precise location, contacts, or data from Apple Health or Google Health Connect, and we don't use advertising identifiers.

How we use your information

We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who can see your workouts

You choose a default in Profile → Privacy, and can change it for any workout:

Workout links. When you copy a workout link, anyone who has that link can view the workout on fittward.com without an account, including your username, display name and any photos or videos on it. Workout pages are hidden from search engines. You can stop sharing a link at any time, and links stop working if you set the workout to Only Me or delete it.

Your username and display name are visible to other Fittward users so they can find and follow you. A private account means people must request to follow you.

Service providers

We use a small number of companies to run Fittward. They process data only on our behalf and under contracts that require them to protect it:

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety and rights of our users and others.

Storage and security

Your data is encrypted in transit and stored with our providers, who may process it outside India, including in the United States, with safeguards to protect it as described in this policy. Access is restricted by your account and privacy settings; photos and videos are stored privately and shown to others only through short-lived links when your settings allow.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete individual workouts at any time, or delete your whole account in the app under Profile → Delete account. Deleting your account immediately and permanently removes your profile, workouts, routines, custom exercises, photos, videos and share links. Copies in our providers' encrypted backups are overwritten as those backups expire, normally within 30 days.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the EU/UK GDPR — you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict how we use it. You can do most of this directly in the app. For anything else, email us at support@fittward.com and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account, nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become unable to, and complain to the Data Protection Board of India or your local data protection authority.

Children

Fittward is not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. Users under 18 may use Fittward only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. We don't use children's data for tracking, behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising. If you believe a child is using Fittward without that consent, contact us and we'll delete the account.

Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes, we'll let you know in the app or by email before they take effect. The date at the top shows when this policy was last updated.
